Aligning with customer demands and solving practical application challenges stands as a core orientation for technological R&D at Weichang Wood Industry. In 2019, the company’s technical team developed a novel halogen compound coating process, which effectively eliminates blistering during the lamination of three-ply boards.

In conventional production, air bubbles tend to form when three-ply boards are laminated with impregnated paper, impairing surface flatness and structural stability in service. To tackle this issue, our team optimized formulations and adjusted production parameters to accelerate the curing of base adhesive during hot pressing, suppressing bubble formation and upgrading panels’ surface finish and structural stability.

Since its implementation, this process has won recognition from downstream clients and offered an innovative technical solution for deep processing of wood panels.
