Green and resource-efficient development represents a key trend for the wood panel industry. Linyi Weichang Wood Industry keeps advancing material and process optimization. In 2023, we made breakthroughs in the research and application of new auxiliary materials, realizing simultaneous improvement in cost control and product performance.
Wheat flour has long been widely used as a major auxiliary material in traditional three-ply board production, yet its consumption is high and its price vulnerable to market fluctuations. After numerous rounds of trials, our technical team independently developed a composite auxiliary material mainly composed of sodium-based and calcium-based bentonite, compounded with cassava starch and sodium cellulose.
Practical application results verify that this new formula can replace more than 50% of wheat flour used in conventional production. While maintaining stable bonding strength, it substantially cuts auxiliary material costs and improves the waterproof property of finished panels. Going forward, the company will continuously refine this formula to contribute to the green and low-carbon development of the whole industry.
